With much concerns of environment and energy issues, numerous studies have been conducted and a variety of social system have been improved. Also, various studies have been conducted in housing sector, which is closely related to urban life. This study observes how energy consumption is considered in housing determination. The main objective of this study is to find out the effect of energy consumption factor on the housing price. This research constructed Hedonic Price Model, including the factors of housing energy consumption with other housing characteristics in the apartment complex in Seongnam and Yongin area in Gyeonggi-do. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that housing energy consumption takes significant effects on housing price. Especially, heating energy consumption has negative effects on the large apartment price. It is expected that implication of this study can be applied to establishment of housing energy policy. |
