This study searches remarkable achievements of media and contents industry promotion policy in Goyang city during 10 years and derives implications from them. Background of media and contents industry promotion policies of Goyang city, governance and achievements were analyzed. Goyang city aggressively has propelled the media and film industry promotion policy since 2009 and set up the organization for that job. Also Goyang Industry Promotion Agency(GIPA) has set the several plans and research during 4~5 years before 2009. These efforts have beared fruits, which were related with media and film industry infrastructure such as incubating business office, aqua studio, EBS headquarter, k-culture valley theme park. A few challenges-more stable incubating office, contents R&D program, awareness of economical and cultural value of contents promotion policy, nexus of hardware and software for contents industry-severely should be discussed in the progress of making more promotion policy. Henceforth directions and strategy of media and contents industry promotion policy develop should be developed toward cultivating ecosystem and technology of media and contents industry, utilizing media contents for make regional assets. |
